Refund Policy

When you can cancel a subscription, how to request a refund and how we review these requests.

Version dated 04 November 2026EnglishFintaro · Beta

Purpose and scope

This Policy explains how paid Fintaro subscriptions may be cancelled and how requests for refunds of payments made directly for access to Fintaro are handled. It does not govern refunds for purchases made by the customers of Fintaro users through Monobank, LiqPay, Cryptomus or other merchant providers. In those transactions, the relevant business is the seller, and refunds are subject to its terms and the payment provider's rules.

02 / 13

Free trial and promotional access

No subscription fee is charged during a free trial, so there is no such fee to refund. Businesses with confirmed access under the “First 50 — free forever” promotion do not pay the subscription fee covered by that promotion; no refund can be issued for a fee that was never charged.

Fees charged by third-party payment services, separately ordered additional services and any other payments, if applicable, are assessed under their respective agreed terms.

03 / 13

Paid subscription and opting out of renewal

The selected plan, billing period and price are disclosed before an order is placed. If automatic renewal is available for an account, it must be properly agreed to. A customer may request cancellation of a future renewal in the settings, if that functionality is available, or through support.

Cancelling future renewal normally stops subsequent charges, but does not by itself automatically entitle the customer to a refund for a period already provided, unless the law, an individual agreement or this Policy provides otherwise.

04 / 13

When a refund may be justified

A request for a refund or a proportionate price reduction is reviewed in circumstances including an erroneous duplicate charge, payment without the agreed access being granted, failure to provide the digital service or a material failure of the service to conform to the contract, and other cases required by mandatory law.

Where technically possible and with the customer's consent, restoring access, fixing a defect, extending the service period or another lawful remedy may be offered instead of a refund. A customer is not obliged to accept a substitute for a remedy guaranteed by law.

05 / 13

When a refund is generally not provided

For business customers, to the extent permitted by contract and law, no longer needing the service, not using an available subscription, choosing the wrong plan after confirming it, or discontinuing business activities do not by themselves create an unconditional right to a refund of the subscription fee.

This rule does not apply where a refund is required by law, including in relation to a nonconforming digital service or non-waivable consumer rights.

06 / 13

Mandatory rights of digital-service consumers

Where the contractual relationship is subject to Ukrainian legislation on digital content and digital services and consumer protection, the corresponding mandatory rights apply regardless of this Policy's wording. In cases provided by law, a consumer may require conformity of the service, a proportionate reduction in price or termination of the contract with a refund.

Where Article 16 of the Ukrainian Law “On Digital Content and Digital Services” applies, a lawful request for a proportionate price reduction or a refund must be satisfied within a reasonable time and no later than 14 days after receipt, in accordance with that law. This is not an unconditional promise to refund any amount for any reason within 14 days.

07 / 13

How to submit a request

Contact support in your Fintaro workspace and provide the company name, owner's email, date and amount of payment, transaction ID or other proof, reason for the request and preferred contact method. Do not include your password, full payment card number or CVV.

If you have lost access to your account, use the Operator's official contact channel published on the website. To prevent fraud, the Operator may request proof of authority to act on behalf of the payer.

08 / 13

Review process and deadlines

The Operator checks payment details, whether access was provided, the circumstances of any disruption and the applicable terms. A response is provided within a reasonable period. If the law prescribes a particular deadline for satisfying the claim, that deadline applies. Lawful consumer claims for digital services covered by Article 16 mentioned above are subject to a maximum period of 14 days.

09 / 13

How refunds are made

As a general rule, approved refunds are made to the same payment instrument or using the same payment method as the original payment, unless another method is agreed with the consumer and is permitted by law and provider rules. The time taken for funds to arrive after a refund has been initiated may depend on the bank and payment service.

Where mandatory consumer-protection rules for digital services apply, the customer is not charged an additional fee for executing the refund. Otherwise, fees are governed by the law and duly agreed terms.

10 / 13

Partial refunds and calculating the amount

Where the law, the agreed plan or the circumstances of a particular case require a proportionate refund, the amount is determined taking account of the period for which the service was not provided or was provided improperly and the mandatory rules applicable to the relationship. The Operator does not guarantee a refund for a portion of the service that was properly provided except where required by law or an individual agreement.

11 / 13

Disputed payments and abuse

If a payment was made without the payer's authorization or in error, the applicant may also contact their bank or payment provider under its procedures. Providing false information to obtain a duplicate refund or an unjustified chargeback may result in an investigation and lawful protection of the Operator's rights.

12 / 13

Access and data after cancellation

Ending a subscription may affect the availability of paid features after the paid period ends. Customers should save necessary documents in advance where export is available. Personal-data processing and deletion are governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

13 / 13

Changes to this Policy and legal effect

The Operator may amend this Policy unilaterally by publishing a revised version on the website. New terms do not apply retroactively to diminish rights already accrued and do not override mandatory statutory protections. Other matters are governed by the Public Offer.
